Wellness and Corporate Wellness Program
CHANGES Medical & Wellness Spa offers a comprehensive Wellness Program that provides the individualized care necessary to promote good health and encourages disease prevention. Our Wellness Program integrates medicine, proper nutrition, nutritional supplements, and planned physical activity. By blending nutritional, medical solutions, physical exercise, and extensive patient education, our program builds a firm foundation for healing a patient’s mind, body, heart, and spirit.
The Changes Wellness Program requires that patients undergo diagnostic testing that will identify nutritional deficiencies and various health markers. Dr. Ismael Beloso and his staff will then use the test results to design a personalized wellness program that will effectively address specific health issues, physical concerns, and a long-term health plan. Each patient receives a unique treatment plan closely coordinated and monitored by CHANGES professional staff.
The Changes Wellness Program includes:
- Diagnostic health assessment

Changes Corporate Wellness Program
Changes Corporate Wellness Program is for employees who wants take an active role in being responsible for their own health and well-being. Changes provide education and counseling on a wide range of issues, from cancer prevention, to depression and anxiety, to eating smart, to managing everyday stress.
One of the biggest concern that we face each day is corporate obesity. An obese employee will cost more in medical expenses compared to an employee with a healthy body composition. The benefit of having healthy employees are lower medical insurance cost, less employees calling sick, improved morale and increase in production.
Obesity is also an important issue in the workplace: Nationally, obesity accounts for nearly 10% of what the United States spends annually on health care, and health care spending on obese employees increased by 80% from 2001 to 2006.
How can your company motivate employees about having a healthier lifestyle?
While there is no quick fix for obesity, simple, everyday reminders and encouragement can help employees work toward a healthier lifestyle. Use visual aids (TV ads, posters, table top reminders and flyers) and motivational tools (Wii, PlayStation Move and/or Xbox 360 + Kinect.)
Here are some easy ways employees can transition toward a healthy lifestyle:
- Encourage employees to start moving more and sitting less. For example have a contest on Wii during break time. Start a walking program at lunch, before and after work.
- Drink more water! Remember a can of soda with 200 calories, or 1000 calories in a week. Water very good in helping the body detoxifies. A man needs about 13 cups and a woman needs about 9 cups of water each day.
- Reduce salt and replace it with spices. The reduction of salt intake could reduce cases of obesity and other diseases like heart disease.
