Depending on the severity of your skin issues, your skin type, your desired outcome, the source of your skin issue and your availability, one of our three chemical solutions may be used effectively:
Alphahydroxy acid – This is our lightest and most popular chemical peel, as it requires no recovery time. Treatment needs to be done more frequently to achieve the same results as the stronger peels, but the results are typically apparent after a day of skin redness or mild flaking.
Trichloroacetic acid – This treatment is best for peels of a medium depth. It will reduce finer wrinkles and blemishes and has a minimum recovery time. You'll see your new, healthier skin in approximately a week.
Phenol – This is our strongest chemical compound, providing the deepest peels and is available only for the face. We will need to determine if your skin color and tone is right for this level of treatment, as it can sometimes cause the treated area to have a lighter shade. You will need some recovery time for this peel, due to intense facial swelling.
Glycolic Peel- Often considered the most active and beneficial of the Alpha-Hydroxy-Acids (AHA), glycolic acid serves as a catalyst for the formation of new collagen which will reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the skin’s surface. Glycolic acid peels have been very effective in the treatment of hyperpigmentation, melasma, actinic keratosis, acne and oily skin, as well as other cosmetic uses.
Facial Mask- Enjoy a soothing medical grade mask after a glycolic peel to leave skin feel rejuvenated, relaxed. Hydrate, purify, exfoliate and promote a youthful complexion. Our facial masks treat skin with nourishing vitamins and minerals.
VI Peel: The VI Peel contains a blend of gentle, yet powerful ingredients suitable for all skin types. It is highly effective on clearing acne, and reversing the effects of aging, sun damage and environmental factors. Anyone who wants younger, healthier skin will benefit from the VI Peel as it will; reduce or eliminate age spots, freckles, and hyper-pigmentation, improve the tone, texture, and clarity of the skin, and soften fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
Regardless of the chemical treatment selected, no anesthesia is required and the entire procedure takes no more than 15 minutes for the alphahydroxy and the tricholoracetic peels, and slightly more than an hour for the phenol peel and VI peel
